We are very proud to announce our 2012 Annual Jennifer Lauren Farrell Golf Classic. It is set to be held in April (April 28, 2012) again this year at the wonderful Walker Course on the campus of Clemson University.
Please join us on the shores of Lake Hartwell, nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains! Each year this tournament seems to attract more and more golfers. The participation over the last 8 years has lead to record contributions to the Jennifer Lauren Farrell scholarship endowment (please see our financials tab above). Golfers, and our other contributors over the years, have made this a special cause, which benefits deserving Georgia high school students to attend Clemson University. It has been 10 years since we lost Jennifer Farrell in an automobile accident as she was returning to Clemson University to begin her sophomore year. When we embarked on forming the Jennifer Lauren Farrell Scholarship, we had a simple wish and mission - to create something positive in Jennifer's memory and at the same time benefit others. We have indeed made this wish come true!! After 8 highly successful tournaments we have provided scholarship funding to 9 former students of John McEachern High School (Jennifer's Alma Mater) and the current value of the account is $271,747 (as of 6/30/2011 - Unaudited).
